The Director of Military Operations and Intelligence presents his compliments to the Under Secretary of State for the Colonies, and begs to forward for his information a copy of two telegrams dated 19th November and 24th December, 1926, which have been received from the General Officer Commanding, Malaya, relative to the possible necessity of reinforcing

the troops in China,

Major-General Charles would be glad to receive any observations which Sir Samuel Wilson may care to make on the first part of the telegram dated the 24th

December, 1926.
